The No. of vacancies is provisional and likely to increase or decrease as per the need of the department and subject to the Legal Provisions Governing the Recruitment Process.

 A. Intermediate with MPC / BIPC as basic Academic Qualification with 

a) Para Medical Opthlamic Assistants course from Institute recognized by the Govt. of A.P (or)

b) B.Sc (Optometry ) course from Institute recognized by the Govt. of A.P. (or) 

c) Diploma in Optometric technician from Institute recognized by the Govt. of A.P. 

(or)

 d) Diploma in Optometry from Institute recognized by the Govt. of A.P.

Age – 18 to 42 years

i) For S.C’s and S.T’s & B.Cs 5 (Five years). i) For ex-service Men 3 (Three) years in addition to the length of service in armed forces. ) For Physically Challenged persons 10 (Ten) years. 

FEE : 200 rupees

The selection process for a) Total Marks – 100.  b) 45% Marks shall be allotted against the marks obtained in the academic examination i.e. , Aggregate of Marks obtained in all the years in the qualifying examination.  c) 45% Marks shall be allotted against the marks obtained in Technical examination i.e. , Aggregate of Marks obtained in all the years in the Technical examination.  d) 10 marks for weightage from the date of passing technical examination one mark per year .
